As an English teacher, college prep instructor, and published author, I've spent my career helping young people discover what they want to say and how to say it effectively. Over the years, I've worked with students across a wide range of abilities and backgrounds, guiding them through everything from literary analysis and creative writing to high-stakes academic projects.

College essays occupy a unique space. They are not simply writing assignments, nor are they marketing documents. At their best, they help admissions officers understand the person behind the transcript and the achievements.

My role is to uncover meaningful experiences, identify the themes that connect their stories, and develop essays that sound authentic, thoughtful, and distinctly their own.

Every student has a story worth telling. Sometimes they just need an experienced guide to help them find it.
